Some of the dogs have moved to Alaska and must build a new website.....The dream of mushing started way back with a recued Malamute named Tess. She was later joined by Siberian Huskies Louie (also the Logo!) and Crystal from Nanook Siberians. Louie was taught to be a gee-haw leader on the sidewalks in California and he's still carting and mushing with his mom in California today.....At eight months old, Sam (Louie's pup) made the Alaskan Highway trip on dreams of mushing in the Last Frontier along with his mom Maggie and Zeus (4 months old). Well, they got their chance. Since I was dedicated volunteer at Plettner Kennels (Lynda Plettner, 13-time Iditarod finisher!) they had the opportunity to mush with real Iditarod finishers like my favorites, Noppers and Boulder. They've even met head on with Champion Martin Buser where I got a great hand slap in the pass!.....They are now joined by housemates Timber, Indy, and Ekho, also with a background in carting and running with Plettner dogs. It's a beautiful thing to watch them work with only the sound of furry paws and sled runners to break the silence......Thanks!.....Ken
